lunch hour update

I guess I'll update on the weekend's events. I was actually social all three nights. Big weekend for me.

Friday I went to dinner with Kira and then to Howl at the Moon with some of the Caribou crew and some of Natalie's other friends. Let's see, high points include Lindsey's dancing, Lindsey getting Matt Johnson (the hot piano/guitar/drum playing singing guy) to come over to our table for a bit, Bryan coming out and saying he liked the Italian guy so Lindsey once again brought him over to the table. Basically a good time was had by all. We even ran into Katie and she was SLOSHED!

Saturday I woke up early and managed to fall back asleep. Luckily Mo called at 1:45 and woke me up. So I promptly put on my bathing suit and went to the pool. I spent a couple hours swimming, sunning and reading. Then went back inside and watched Paparazzi (stunk - but good cameos) and took a shower. I headed over to the house to get some of the egg rolls that mom had left for George and I. Peter and Lucas were over for the beer brats. I said hello ate my chow and left. Basically watched a bunch of TV. Then Matt E. came over and I made some brownies and we ordered some Papa John's and watched Team America: World Police. Then I made him watch the end of Top Gun and he headed home. Both of us were lame and were falling asleep during the movie.

Sunday I woke up at a more reasonable hour and had some breakfast and made it to the pool by 11 am. I swam, tanned and read much like the day before but only for 1.5 hours to avoid some major burnage. Good thing, cuz my tummy is a little red now. Came in and showered. Watched all of Friends: Season 10 on tv. Watched 5 of 6 episodes of the Summer of Seinfeld. Then so I wasn't a complete loser, Matt & Eileen, Mo and Danny came over for a little smash and two more episodes of Carnivale. Finished up a little later than I would have liked, but I'm functioning okay this morning and without the help of coffee (okay, I guess the coke helped).

Tonight I'm hoping to grab some dinner with George. If he's unavailable I'll probably pick up some sushi and hit either Caribou or East Coast tonight. And I've got a good tv night ahead of me. My Wildfire is on and the premier of Beautiful People. ABC Fam is rocking the new episodes! And I get to cap off the night with some Laguna Beach. I also have Entourage and 6 Feet Under on demand to catch up on from yesterday. But I could use a tv coach potato night despite yesterday afternoon & evening's activities.

And no, I did not have a brain tumor for breakfast.
